These come together to describe the evolution of his life: from his youth up to the peak of his career. Besides the rare items, such as an original painting of his youth, the original manuscript\u201a\u00a0<em>Book of Thoughts<\/em>, the advertising works and letters to his clients and friends, the museum permanently exhibits other masterpieces, such as\u00a0<em>Le T\u00e9moin<\/em>\u00a0(1939),\u00a0<em>Lola de Valence<\/em>\u00a0(1948), or\u00a0<em>La Lampe d\u2019Aladin<\/em>\u00a0(1954), not to forget the unique surrealist rug created in collaboration with his wife Georgette and his friend Paul Noug\u00e9&#8230; Our collection is presented chronologically and traces his career all the way through, from a relatively unknown artist producing some cubist work in the early 1920s to the Magritte that is so well-known today.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_203\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-203\" style=\"width: 258px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-203\" src=\"http:\/\/magrittel.cluster014.ovh.net\/magrittemuseum.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSF0415-2-e1530711862393-793x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"268\" height=\"346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.magrittemuseum.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSF0415-2-e1530711862393-793x1024.jpg 793w, https:\/\/www.magrittemuseum.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSF0415-2-e1530711862393-232x300.jpg 232w, https:\/\/www.magrittemuseum.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSF0415-2-e1530711862393-768x992.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.magrittemuseum.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DSF0415-2-e1530711862393-1260x1628.jpg 1260w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 268px) 100vw, 268px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-203\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Collage; E.L.T.
